ANYWAYS, I AM ALIVE

Shackled by my fears but I dare not release it because they are what makes me feel alive. Sometimes it's not the joy, rain amidst the heat, sunrays leaving you sun kissed, wounds that heal but sometimes it's the fear, flood after the rain, skin burnt by sunrays, wound bleeds that makes us feel alive. 

I feel alive

in the sun's grace

the sunrays burn my skin

 leaving it flaky and dry

the burn makes me feel alive

I feel alive 

in the daunting melodies

the chaos symphonizes

and my ears bleed

the blood dripping makes me feel alive

I feel alive 

in the altitude air

as the heights ascend,

and I start breathing heavily

the suffocation makes me feel alive

I feel alive

in the drenching rain

the water floods me 

and i drown just to swim back

amidst the face of adversity

the desire to survive makes me feel alive

Anyways, I am alive.
